An aluminium canopy cut to the next-gen Ranger tub, 2022 on, for the Big Lap and the long weekends before it. Built in Africa on custom extrusions at our own factory in Johannesburg. The roof is tested to 2,500 kg under static load and carries two roof rails. A dual cab canopy weighs 70 kg, so the tub keeps its payload for the fitout.
Gullwing doors both sides and a rear door open the whole tub at once. Each hangs on a continuous dustproof hinge, tested to 50,000 cycles, and closes onto automotive-grade seals with a pressure lever that pulls the door onto the seal. Corrugations are what the hinge was tested for.
It clamps to the tub. Nothing is drilled, and it comes off clean at resale. Dual cab, extra cab or single cab, frame and door colours chosen below.
The dual cab configuration covers the standard tub.
