How fitting works
A canopy is clamped to the load bin with no drilling, in about two hours, and you can wait for it. There are three ways to have it done.
At Bushtech in Johannesburg. Every canopy is built here and fitted on the same site by the people who built it.
At an authorised Bushtech fitment centre near you. Find a fitter lists every centre currently fitting, with its stock.
On a delivered shipment, on request, where a fitter can attend. Ask before you order and we will say whether it can be done for your address.
Booking your fitting date
Your fitting date is confirmed on your order, never before it. Once you have ordered, choose or agree a date in your account, or call us on +27 11 460 1652 or email info@bushtech.co.za and arrange it with Bushtech staff.
A fitment centre confirms its own dates from its own book. Nothing is booked until it is confirmed to you in writing, on the order.
Delivery
We deliver only to areas Bushtech serves directly or through its dealers. Delivery is quoted at checkout, against your address, before you pay; an address we cannot serve is refused at checkout rather than guessed at.
A canopy is freight, not a parcel. Accessories, storage and 12V parts ship by courier and the cost is shown at checkout before you pay rather than added afterwards.
Check the carton before you sign for it. Damage in transit must be reported to us within two business days of delivery, with photographs, so we can claim it from the carrier and put it right.
Who is responsible for a fit
Bushtech is responsible for the workmanship of a fit done at Bushtech in Johannesburg.
An authorised fitment centre is an independent business. It is responsible for the workmanship of a fit it performs; Bushtech remains responsible for defects in the product itself.
A canopy delivered for you to fit is fitted at your own discretion and at your own risk. Bushtech accepts no responsibility for injury, for damage to the vehicle or the canopy, or for a fit done incorrectly. The warranty covers defects in the product only.
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. Where this page and the Act differ, the Act applies.
What can delay it
A canopy is built to your platform and cab. Where a fit has to be checked against an unusual model year we tell you before taking the order rather than after.
Anything on back-order is shown as such on the product page. We do not take an order for a date we cannot meet.
