Published under section 51(1) and made available under section 51(3): on this website, at the address above during business hours, to any person who asks for a copy, and to the Information Regulator on request. It is updated when what we hold or how we hold it changes (section 51(2)). This is version 1, of 29 September 2026.
The Regulator’s guide (section 10)
The Information Regulator publishes a guide, in every official language, on how to use PAIA and POPIA: what rights they give, how to make a request, the fees, and how to complain. It is available from the Regulator at inforegulator.org.za and from its offices in Johannesburg.
Records we hold, by subject
Sales: quotes, orders, invoices, credit notes, delivery and fitting records, warranty registrations and claims. Kept for the five-year warranty and for five years after the tax year they belong to.
Customers and enquiries: names, contact details, vehicle details, delivery addresses, the waitlist, support conversations and marketing consents.
Dealers and suppliers: applications, trading agreements, price lists, purchase orders, statements and payments.
The company: registration and tax records, contracts, insurance, employee records, and the accounting and banking records the Companies Act and the Tax Administration Act require.
Records available without a request: this website, the product pages, the policies, and the notices the company files with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission.
How to ask for a record
Use Form 2 of the PAIA Regulations, 2021 (a request for access to a record of a private body), available from the Regulator’s website, and send it to the Information Officer at the address or email above. Say which record you want, the right you are exercising or protecting and why the record is needed for it, how you would like to receive it, and how we can reach you.
A request fee of R140 is prescribed for a request that is not about your own personal information; a request about your own personal information carries no request fee. Copies (R2 a page) and search time beyond the first hour (R145 an hour) may still apply to either, as prescribed; we tell you the amount before any work is done, and may ask for a deposit of up to a third where the search would take more than six hours.
We answer within 30 days of receiving the request, and may extend once by up to 30 days where the records are many, held away from Johannesburg or need a third party to be consulted; we tell you in writing if so. A refusal names the ground in the Act. If you disagree with a refusal, a fee or an extension, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) or apply to a court.
Personal information we process (POPIA section 17)
Purpose: to quote, build, deliver, fit and support what a customer buys; to run the waitlist and send the marketing a person has agreed to; to trade with dealers and suppliers; to meet tax, company and consumer law. The full description is on the privacy policy.
Data subjects and information: customers and people who enquire (name, contact details, delivery address, vehicle, what they bought or asked about, payment references, support messages); dealer and supplier staff (name, role, contact details); our own employees.
Recipients: the carriers and fitment centres that deliver and fit; the payment provider that takes payment; our hosting, database and email providers; the advertising platform a person has consented to; the tax authority and our accountants and lawyers where the law requires.
Transborder flows: our website and database are hosted in Sydney, Australia; our application service, which takes payments and sends email, runs in Singapore; email is delivered through a provider in the United States. Measurement events go to Google in the United States, and advertising events to Meta in the United States, only with the person’s consent. Section 72 of POPIA governs each of these transfers.
Security: personal information is held in a database that every application session reaches through a role limited to its own rows; phone numbers on the waitlist are sealed; staff sign in with a one-time link and a signed session cookie; every change to a record is logged with who made it and when; access is granted by role and reviewed. A person may ask what we hold, correct it, object to marketing or ask for deletion from Your data.
If something here is unclear, or your order says something different, tell us and we will work through it with you. Contact us.
